Played darts at the club for an hour, while there the rain clouds cleared off and it has turned out to be quite a nice day although the temp is slowly dropping.
I had an email today from Alexandra Morton saying she was thinking about running for the NDP in the next federal election with the idea that it would give her a stronger voice in her battle to save our Pacific salmon. I have urged her not to as I believe that the end result would be the smothering of her voice and vision for our fish. Probably she has been approached as she would draw votes but at the same time I think she would polarize others (me for one) who cannot and will not support the NDP. Because to allow some of her ideas there would have to be a trade-off. Let science, truth and example lead the way, not political tricks and shenanigans. Let's face it; the NDP are a political thorn but will never be the government and capable of making laws and policy.
