Overcast and windy, temperature is 10C. I don't like doing the update in the pm so will not add more chapters of the story until tomorrow morning.
Today is my third son's 50th birthday, Happy Birthday to him.
Made smoothies for breakfast today, added fresh spinach to the fruit and actually it was quite good.
Hot tub is back up and running to temperature so will be enjoying that this evening.
I see some color on the bud tips of the magnolia tree so the flowers will soon be bursting forth and yesterday I noticed that the buds on the yellow plum are now swollen and showing green. I do believe spring has staggered into view!
Since there will be no new chapters today, I am adding a little poem I found, I don't know who wrote it but at some point I 'squirreled' it away in "my documents". It has a lesson in it. I hope the author doesn't mind.
If you have a tender message,
Or a loving word to say,
Do not wait until you forget it,
But whisper it today;
The tender word unspoken,
The letter never sent,
The long-forgotten messages,
The wealth of love unspent –
For these some hearts are breaking,
For these some loved ones wait;
To show them that you care for them
Before it is too late
