In Salmon Arm, BC.We left home about 0815 yesterday, caught the 0900 ferry drove to Chilliwack and had lunch with Son Jim and family then headed up to Hope and over the Coquihalla h/w. At Merritt we decided to Take the old H/W (5A) to Kamloops. This was a great choice. It is a s quick to get to Kamloops on a slower h/w with great scenery. The lakes are very pretty and we noticed that there are a lot of nice looking camp grounds. No significant hills so it was easier on the motorhome and of course gas.
Speaking of gas we paid 1.19.9 in Chilliwack and 1.09.9 in Kamloops at Costco. Here in Salmon Arm it is 119.9. We overnited last night at the bowling green here.
Instea of stories while we are away, I'll do a travel -log . We will be in S/A for the week, so there may not be much to write about, but will give it a shot. Have a good day (or evening) everyone.
