Surprise, I'm up early so decided to do an entry.
5C and it's still dark.
The neighbor cat (Lucy) is at the door but she can't come in this morning as we are almost ready to leave. She is a fairly regular visitor - comes for a treat.

Played darts last night then early to bed.

I think that within 3 - 5 years all toilets will be capable of holding only 1 - 2 gallons of water.  Because as our population grows, water will become a scarce resource that will affect all of us.

I think some kind of ballroom dancing will become popular again.  Don’t laugh!  The human race has always loved things of beauty.  Bouncing up and down and gyrating like crazy may be fun, but it is not very pretty to the observer.  A couple smoothly sweeping about and around a dance floor to music that is pleasant to the ear is a type of beauty and in some cases even art.  Of course we will always have and dance to music that appeals to the primitive that exists in all of us.

There will come a time in the next few years when all types of hunting will not be allowed.  Perhaps some bird hunting will continue, but all forms of "big game " hunting will be by quota and on a strict draw system.  Unfortunately ocean fishing will also become highly restricted.  Perhaps initially very expensive licensing or a draw for so many licenses per year, limits will be reduced to make it hardly worthwhile.

I don't see a tunnel to Vancouver Island but perhaps one day  a system of bridges connecting Vancouver to the sunshine Coast and from there to the Island.  The Liberals will win the next election in BC and the Federal liberals will return next time, but Reform the time after that, providing they find a strong enough leader to take Mannings place.

Macdonald’s will be around forever but A and W and Dairy Queen will sellout to some other chain who will then try and take away McDonald's business.

Almost all city dwellers will be living in condos or town houses by 2020.  Single family dwelling units will only exist in the rural areas.

Our money will be like Mexican money, in another twenty years we won't have pennies, nickels or dimes.

Speaking of Mexicans, many of them will emigrate to Canada, they will be like the Chinese and become secret millionaires.
