January 11

0C overcast. Roofs are very white this morning.
A little late this morning as one of this sites regular visitors was here overnight and he and his wife have just headed out.
Bad news last night; our daughters father-in law passed away so today will a long and difficult day for her household. He (John) was a kindly man and will be missed by all of us.

My birds are very active this morning ( I use the word "my" rather loosely as they are very independent and are here only for the food that I put out. Although when the feeders are empty they seem to recognize me when I go to the shed for more seed.
Although I do have a page or more of the new story typed I won't post any of it today. There is one picture on the side bar captioned "Water Borne" that provides a clue to what the story is about. And "Borne" is not a misspelling.
Took the cover off the motor home yesterday so we will now start getting it ready for our trip south. Not a great deal to do and somethings (like water) have to wait until the day before we go.
