0C overcast. A light dust of snow overnight, will melt in a n hour or so.
Don't like the forecast for Washington state, so I will try and find a set of chains for the motor home duallys.
Had a bit of snow yesterday but it was gone very quickly.
Got my INR done yesterday, so that will have to do until we get back.
I mentioned Barnes and Noble the other day, here is the link - just scroll down and no I didn't write any of those about fitness etc. http://www.barnesandnoble.com/s/john-little?keyword=john+little&store=allproducts

Chapter 2
Having pushed the why’s and where’s into the back of his mind Bob continued his ginger footed search for anything he could use. What he desperately needed was something for his feet. He thought of putting his socks back on but dismissed the idea as quickly as it came. He looked up and down the small beach he was on then noticed at the one end that a short reef ran out into the water, ‘with any luck there may be a better beach around there’ he thought.
He made his way to and over the rock that stretched out and found a narrow gut that ran into the bush. He clambered along the water smoothed surface and in a moment found a slight bend in the channel; around the slight bend there was a huge pile of driftwood and other flotsam. “Bingo.” He said aloud. “There must be something.”
He picked his way over to where the debris started and immediately spotted several plastic bottles sticking out of logs and branches. He gathered them up and laid them together and continued searching. Soon he had accumulated a battered “jerry” can, several net floats, two boat bumpers – one of them rubber, a torn shirt and one leg from a pair of blue jeans, then searching where the brush drooped over the beach he spotted a red running shoe! It turned out to be two sizes too big, but no matter it would be invaluable.
Shortly after this find, he suddenly felt dizzy and he realized he had had no food or water all the while he was adrift. He donned the shoe and gathered his ‘treasures' in his arms and slowly made his way back to his where his clothes were draped.
He staggered and plopped down on the log beside his clothes and rested while his head cleared once more. Then with an effort he started redressing in the still damp clothes.
He cinched the oversize running shoe tightly then folding the pant leg into a pad he tied this onto his other foot using strips he made from the shirt.
Then after another brief rest he walked to the waters edge and made his way over to one of the rocky outcrops. Almost immediately he was rewarded with the sight of a cluster of oysters jutting out from a corner of the rock.
He picked up a fist size boulder and smashed several of the oysters off their rocky bed then picking them up he laid them on top of the big rock and one by one smashed their shells. He picked away the broken shell bits and quickly stuffed the oyster meat into his mouth and swallowed without chewing. As soon as the last one was gone he continued his search and quickly found a second cluster. He realized as he finished the first few that in his haste he had lost much of the natural liquid, so this time he broke off the tip of the closed shell and slurped and sucked out as much liquid as he could before breaking his way into the meat.
