Very warm today - got to at least 27 C - Hooray!!
I am happy to announce that Maryann won and her bowling partner (not me) won the Paradise Recreational Park bowls (pairs) today. She was awesome, unfortunately I will probably have to pack her bowl bag and keep her supplied in water while she bowls for awhile.
I did get a few minutes early this am to add some more to the story, I would like to have a full day at it so I can relax and be a bit more creative.

The action did not stop sleep from coming immediately.
Chapter 6
Bob awoke early and went down to the water’s edge, stripped his clothes off and waded out until the water reached his waist the ducked under the surface then stooped and picked up a handful of the muddy sand and scrubbed his upper body then rinsing his hands he did the same to his lower body.
The water was still cool from the night time coolness and as he finished his libations he shivered a bit. Then turned and launched himself into a shallow dive came to the surface and stroked vigorsley for a hundred yards, turned and swam into shore until his hands touched bottom.
He rose and walked ashore then gathering his clothes he walked up the beach drying himself with his shirt as he went.
He decided to forego a breakfast, as another meal of shellfish didn’t appeal to him. Instead, still naked, he pulled the tarp and plastic sheet off his bed and set to work constructing a travois with the two poles he had readied the night before.
He spread the plastic sheet across the poles first, then the tarp on top of the plastic.Next he wrapped the two around and under one of the poles. Then using the filleting knife he made half a dozen slits and using pieces of the balled fishing line from is finds of the first day as thread he bound the two materials to the pole, he continued along the one pole until it was bound the full length, he then repeated the process on the second pole. In about an hour he had his wheel-les barrow ready to go.
He didn’t know if everything he had found would eventually be of any use but decided to take as much as he could. In the end the only things not piled on were the engine cover and a couple of boards.
He backed into the vee-d poles and taking one in each hand, headed for the cabin.
After a few hundred yards, he found that because of the weight of his load he was struggling to keep his two handles spread apart. He lowered the poles to the ground and after a brief search found two small trees with forked tops. He whittled them down and then tied them together so the that he had a fork on either end about three feet apart. He wedged these between the poles a couple of feet behind his travois handles.
Before he started off he searched about and gathered salal berries and had his breakfast.
It took close to two hours to make it to the cabin.
