February 9

Well the cloud has finally cleared away and it is bright and sunny, Temp was 53 F when we woke up.
M is bowling in the pairs as she won here game yesterday, I'm out as I lost. :(
I only have a small bit of the story this am as I didn't work on it yesterday. Will try and rectify that today.

Then remembering the lid, he picked it up and placed it on the fire at another spot.
A little later as the water started to steam he dropped in his three clams, hesitated then dropped in two of the oysters.  “Never had boiled oysters before, but you never know”, he muttered. He still had two more oysters and these he placed as he had the one the night before. He fished out the lid and dropped it onto the tin.
Just as full darkness enveloped the beach, Bob drained the water from what was now a tin pot and sat back to relish another hot meal.
He lay back afterwards and stared up into the sky. It was a clear night and the stars were shining in their myriads, the milky way was a white arch that stretched between his one horizon and the trees behind him. ‘This isn’t so bad, by this time tomorrow, I’ll be under shelter, I got food and there’s more to get, I got some tools, I bet there are people out there who would pay for an experience like this.’
His eyes closed and as he felt himself starting to drop into sleep, he rolled over and crawled into his bed.  The action did not stop sleep from coming immediately.
