10C Raining
I'm a bit late this morning. Took half a pill and didn't wake till after 6!
Had a nice phone visit with J in Prince George, good gardening today.
The finches are sure abundant in the back yard, both gold and purple, makes the plumb tree look like it's decked out for royalty. Also we seem to have more hummingbirds than usual and there are two different types. Have two nesting sparrow families now.

by the third day she was pacing her floors and made several trips down to the float where her boat was tied.

That day she spent in selecting supplies and packing them in two plastic wrapped boxes. She dug out her old pup tent and sleeping bag, then selected two changes of clothes. She rolled all her papers and put them into a around aluminum fishing rod holder with a screw top. Lastly she went into the bedroom that her mother had used and going to the closet she reached into a corner and pulled out a sheathed 30-30 Winchester carbine. From the shelf she brought down a full box of cartridges.

The gun had originally been her father’s but it had been her’s since she was sixteen years of age.

Alicia laid everything out on the floor, double checked it all then prepared her dinner. That night she went to bed at nine o’clock after setting her alarm for four a.m.

By five the next morning Alicia was stripping off her boat cover. She unloaded her car, placed everything in the boat then after returning her car to her driveway trotted back to the boat and pushed off from the float by five thirty.

Chapter 10

Bob didn’t stumble back to the cabin until well after dark. He was bone weary from everything he had done the last couple of days, but in spite of venting some of his anger and frustration by packing in the second side of deer he was feeling an emotional drain. His verbal anger directed at the girl had upset him, he realized that his reaction had been out of character and he was now feeling remorseful for his actions and words.
