Where did our summer go?
Slowly figuring out how to operate the new Ipad. Odd that you have to pay to play scrabble on it so I guess I won't.

She turned and went out the
door closing it behind her.
Chapter 23
A half hour later Bob came
out and found Alicia sitting in the living room reading a newspaper.
She put the paper down as he
entered and said, “Well how did it go?”
Bob, looking somewhat
emotional, replied, “Well good, they were pretty surprised, thought I was dead
of course. I don’t have any numbers or anything for anything to do with work,
banks or anything so he will get hold of the lawyer that he was working with
and start reversing everything that’s been put in motion. He was pretty
excited.” He paused then went on, “He can’t get here for a couple of days, so
if you want he can arrange for a hotel for me.”
“Why would I want that? You
will stay right here until he gets here, longer if you want.”
“Thanks, Alicia. I did give
him the number that was on the phone so we may be getting some calls for me.”
“Good, now how about a
sandwich? We can sit and talk in the kitchen while I make them.”
“Sounds good to me but I have
another favor to ask.”
“Sure go ahead.”
“Do you think we could have a
cup of coffee?:
Alicia threw back her head
and laughed heartily, “Of course we can and I’ll even let you make it.”
The next hour went by quickly
as they ate sandwiches and drank coffee together at the kitchen table.
Then filling their cups once
more they moved back into the living room and continued talking about
themselves and asking questions of each other. Slowly they both became aware of
how comfortable they were with each other, they said nothing about it but just
allowed themselves to enjoy what was happening.
