15C and O/C
I wonder where summer is today?
Took a Bowling clinic yesterday, twas very good. Then company for dinner last night.

, “The garden we can spread it on the garden.”
If Alicia had caught his slip she gave no outward sign.
They continued playing cards and while they did rain started to spatter on the roof then after a while turned into a solid down pour.
Alicia went to the door and looked out, “It’ll be wet trip if this keeps up.”
“Well we can always leave a bit later, it would be nice to be reasonably dry when we get to your boat.”
“True.” Alicia said, “And if a storm comes up we’ll just wait it out, we don’t have to leave.”
For dinner they finished the one slab of ling cod that Alicia steamed in a mixture onions and chopped carrots.
“Where did you learn to do that?” Bob asked as he swallowed his last bite and wiped his lips.
“Well to tell you the truth I think is some idea blending from both my father’s and my mother’s heritages. Actually you can throw just about anything together.”

Darkness descended early due to the low clouds and they decided to turn in early. Both were a little tired, Bob mostly from the exercise and both from the afternoon of card playing and the gloom of early night fall.
However once in bed, they found sleep to be elusive and both rolled and tossed for some time before falling asleep. Even then their sleep was disturbed by dreams that weren’t far apart in their nature.

Chapter 21

Alicia awoke before Bob and taking the wash basin with her, slipped outside to visit the ‘johnson bar’ then using cold water she bathed as best she could.
When she went back inside, Bob was sitting on the edge of the bed.
“How’s the weather out there?” He asked.
“Well the rain has stopped and there is a light mist, but I have a feeling it will clear off.”
A brief flicker of disappointment crossed Bob’s but he said, “Oh good, I guess we’ll get away this morning then.”
