15C Sunny
We won our game last night and ended up 2nd in the C division - got our money back!
Didn't get home till 10:30 so a hot tub then off to bed.

“Okay, I can manage now.”
Alicia bit her lip then saying nothing turned and walked away. When she was out of sight she called back I’ll wait right out here!”
A few minutes went by then Bob called, “Okay, you can come back.”
Standing there in the bushes clad only in a pair of underwear and gum boots Bob was rather a ludicrous site. Alicia forced herself not to show any levity and once again got one of his arms across her shoulders and together they made their way back.
When they got to the door, Alicia said, “After breakfast I’ll try and find something for a crutch.”
Bob just grunted, still embarrassed by the whole episode.
Back inside, Bob lay back on the bed while Alicia bustled about rekindling the fire and putting water on to heat. “This is the last of the water, so I’ll have to get some a bit later.” she said.

A short while later after a breakfast of canned berries and a whole jar of canned salmon between them, Alicia put the tin Bob had been using as a commode beside the bed and said, “I’ll just head out and see what I can find for a crutch, be back in a few minutes.”
“Okay,” Bob said. But could you toss me over that pocket book and maybe I could look at your papers again?”
Alicia did as asked and went and around to the shed at the back. She couldn’t find anything suitable for what she wanted so picked up the axe and struck off down the trail that led to where the signal fire had been set.
She noted that it had obviously been replied with fresh wood in the recent past. ‘Looks like he had intended to leave at some point.’ She thought. She circled around the half clearing and then struck off into the surrounding bush. She walked slowly looking mostly at small trees. Finally she spotted what she had been searching for, a small tree two or three inches thick that was forked over six feet above the ground.
She quickly chopped it down, cutting at ground level, then cut the two forks leaving a ‘y’ shaped piece of wood. She trimmed off the few small branches that were left then axe in one hand and the tree in the other she retraced her steps back to the cabin.
