No time for chatter on here this morning, but on the other hand it's probably the story you want.

He sat down at the table and watched Alicia bustle about then bent his head and started jotting down things as they entered his mind.

Chapter 24

Later after they had finished supper and washed and dried the dishes, Alicia poured more wine and they went back to the living room.
They talked for a bit, reliving some of their island experience and when the conversation slowed, Alicia turned on the television and flipped through the channels. There was nothing that interested either of them and she hit the off button.
After a few moments she said, “Bob? What now? What’s next?”
They both realized that the question had double meaning. Bob hesitated for a moment then said, “Well after my brother arrives with some of my personal papers, I’ll get all my financial stuff in order; driver’s license, credit cards and et cetera. It will mean a trip back home and I thought it over this afternoon, I am going to put my house up for sale.” He paused then went on, “After that I’ll get another boat, the old one was insured so that’ll be covered and then I’m not sure, maybe back to my cabin up island.”
Alicia nodded, “Well that will keep you busy for a while.”
“Yeah a couple of weeks anyway. What about you, what’s next for you?”
“Oh, oh I don’t know, I don’t feel like going back to my old job, I’ve given some thought to staying here and opening up my own business, consulting.”
“Mm, hmm, that sounds interesting,” and before he could stop himself Bob said, “would you like to come up and visit me sometime? Or ah, uh, maybe I could come and see you?”
In the darkening room neither could make out the others face and their flushes were not seen.
