20CF in partial sun< the clouds keep coming and going.
Happy Canada Day everyone. At one time we knew it only as July 1st.
Kathy overnighted with us, scrabble game and a movie.
Looking for a small used truck, one is in the ads but after24 hours the fellow hasn't replied to my Query.

Well here is the work I got done yesterday.
I think I had left off after some embarrassment between Bob and Alicia over calls to nature and the deer meat is still being canned. Bob had just asked for Alicia's papers.

Alicia shrugged and said, “Okay, suit your self, I’ve brought copies of everything and you can read it all for yourself.”
She fished out the rest of the papers from the cannister  and  carrying them over to the bed she laid them beside him.
“There it all is, I am the granddaughter of Marcet.”  She turned away and busied herself with getting more wood and cleaning up the table and putting things away.
Bob quickly scanned through the papers then started over and read through them all carefully. He knew from the first scan that Alicia’s claim was bona fide, but his curiosity was aroused and he found the documents historically interesting.
Finally finished, he carefully set the papers to one side and watched Alicia as she puttered about.
Feeling his gaze Alicia straightened up from storing the utensils and turned to look back, a questioning g look on her face.
There eyes held for a moment then Bob said, “First I owe you an apology, obviously this, everything is yours and not only am I trespassing but I guess I was rude the last time, I’m sorry I’m not usually like that.”
Alicia stared at the window for a moment then replied, “Look, you were a castaway, and it was only chance that brought you here and I must say you have made things look pretty good. And I guess I was a bit mouthy as well.” She smiled then gave a small chuckle, “Let’s start all over.”
He smiled back, “I’d like that and I also have to thank you for, I am sure, saving my life.”
