20C sunny
The birds are very busy this morning, the hatch of sparrows have really taken over, They have out muscled the finches.
I did get the book I call Poems and Stories From Here to There Or More of Ramblings, Musings and Other Stuff resurrected yesterday. it is now republished but both it and WaterBorne must wait until I get a hard copy and approve them for full release - probably take about ten days.
I had an idea for a story this morning it will be a true one and will have a lot of meaning in it, but must get back some information.

“I will dar, uh, uh Bob. I’ll call you the moment I can.”
They talked for a few more minutes during which time Bob told her that his insurance money had come through and he was negotiating for a new boat.
“Oh yeah, I had a job offer doing stream flow analysis from the feds but I turned them down.”
“Why did you do that? You can’t do nothing forever.” Then quickly, “Oh I’m sorry Bob, I shouldn’t have said that.”
“No, no it’s okay, my specialty is coastal streams and tidal interaction and I got a tip that there is something coming along soon. This other one would have put me up in the northern Rockies and would have been unavailable.”
Although she felt a surge through her body, Alicia didn’t let her voice show her burst of elation. “Oh good, I hope it works out.”
“I think it will.”
A few moments later they said good night.

By the end of Alicia’s two week absence, Bob was almost beside himself with worry.
Finally one Saturday afternoon, she called, This was the first time she had initiated a phone call.
“Hi Bob, I’m home.” Was her opening when he picked up his phone.
“Hi, hi are you okay, how did it go, are you okay?”
She smiled at the other end, somehow happy at his obvious concern.
“Fine, I’m just fine. It went well, I got all kinds of evidence including a video of these two guys taking down a bear and then cutting out a few things that go on the black market. I got their boat in the clip and then later I zeroed in on the carcass. They are probably being apprehended as we speak.”
“Wow! Good for you, I knew you could do it. But, but I was a bit worried.”
Alicia smiled into the phone, “Nothing to worry about. So what’s been happening?”
Well I got the boat and took it up to Tofino, I listed my house and got an offer on it two days ago. And I have bid on a long term contract that covers all the west coast of the Island and around the north end to the Port Hardy area.”
