Very windy through the night and it is still blowing. Temperature is 55F.
I put the following peeve on Facebook yesterday.
Here it is Remembrance Day in Canada and Veterans Day in the US, but yet retailers are out there lining their pockets with sales and advertising them. They may as well fill their ink bottles from the blood of those who gave so much. Shame on you.
It's actually a bit different but you get the message.
I don.t like the day being made into a holiday, that too is not what was fought for.
Bowled twice yesterday then went to visit one of the club members who just had a knee replacement. Wow you should see the rehab facility he is in. Like a 10 star hotel, for 21 days at 0 cost!!
