Bowled out of park in the pm. Had a a haircut and worked on the project again.
Last night watched "The Great Escape" was ok but not a great one. League bowled this am, we had to come from behind to win.

  Chapter 5.

My mate and I inherited the aerie only a few years ago.  During our short occupation the changes beneath us have been far greater and have had more significance on our lives and those of our fledglings than all the changes over the hundreds of years had on my ancestors.

At first the changes were very subtle.  Men once again appeared in the forest beneath us, at first only a few then more and more.  With them they brought machinery of many kinds.  They once again logged the lands just to the west and the north but this time after they logged the trees; they cleared the land with some of the machines.  The stumps, roots and logs were put into piles and set on fire.  One day one of the fires spread into some of the unlogged areas and soon man’s metal birds were overhead and dropping a purple substance into the area of the fire.  Later, when the fire was out all of the debris was put into ravines and covered with dirt and gravel.  The changes to the land accelerated and more men came.
