Bowled, read for a while, quick shopping trip after M got back from a ladies function. An hour at the pool, a visit from neighbors, organized some pictures and off to bed.

“ No problem.” Said Jesus. “ Did you clean the Senora’s house?” In answer to Pablo’s shake of his head, Jesus went on, “You go now and do that then your business with Senor Marsh, at some time call your friend who breaks cars to pick up his car,” he nodded at Raphael, “It will be at the small airport on the south side. I will call you later exactly where. Johnny you will take Pablo and Ricardo to the Senora’s house to get their cars. Who has the keys and the gun?”
Ricardo handed the keys over. Pablo said, “I have the gun grandfather but what …?”
Jesus made a motion with on hand cutting off Pablo’s words, and simply held out his other hand.
Pablo took the automatic out of his pocket and gave it to Jesus.
“Go, go now and do your usual things.” The three younger men all turned went out, climbed into Johnny’s car and left.
When the car noise disappeared, Jesus checked the automatic, walked to where Raphael was sprawled and with out saying a word, put the gun to Raphael’s temple and pulled the trigger.
He then walked unhurriedly over to a corner of the warehouse where there was a pile of debris. He found several short pieces of heavy twine and a large tattered sheet of black plastic. He went back with his find to where Raphael’s body was lying and trussed the corpse up so that the head and neck was tied to the shins.
When he was satisfied, he opened the large door beside the small one they had been using then drove Raphael’s car in and up to the body.
Jesus opened the trunk and spread the plastic sheet inside, he then heaved the body half into the open trunk then rolled it all the way in. He folded the plastic around and over the body, with some difficulty he worked some more of the twine around and was able to tie the plastic covered body into a reasonably tight bundle. He slammed the trunk shut.
Next, taking a rag that was lying in the dirt, he methodically wiped down the entire exterior of the car where either he or his grandsons might have touched it, he did the same for the interior. He then drove the car outside, stopped and closed the large door from the inside and using a makeshift broom from some more of the plastic swept dust over the barely visible tire imprints and using a piece of board scattered more dirt over the spot where Raphael had lain. When he was satisfied he went out the small door, closed it behind him then tossed the ‘broom’ out in the yard where the wind immediately whirled it away.
Fifteen minutes later he pulled up to the huge city incinerator that burned refuse to create electricity. Conveyors were placed around the exterior of the huge steel structure, Jesus pulled around to one that had the figure ‘3’ painted on its side.
A younger replica of Jesus was busy overseeing the off loading of some refuse into the conveyor. When he saw Jesus in the car, he gave a curt nod and dragged out a large sign that directed loads to the next conveyor.
When the off-loading of the vehicle at number three conveyor was complete, Jesus backed up as close as he could. He unlocked the trunk, the other man came to the opposite side of the car from Jesus and together they rolled Jesus’ ‘package’ onto the conveyor chain.
Jesus looked across and said, “Thank you brother.”
“For nothing.” Was the reply.
Jesus got back into the car and drove off without a backward glance.
A short time later, an airport visible just ahead, he stopped by a sewage treatment lagoon that came up to within a few feet of the road he was on. He got out, took the automatic out of a pocket, wiped it thoroughly and tossed it into the lagoon.
Getting back in the car he proceeded to the small airfield and found a parking spot well away from the terminal and other buildings. He wiped the car down once more, tied the rag to the car’s antennae, and walked to the small terminal, which also served as a bus stop. He dropped the keys to the car in a trashcan then sat to wait for the next bus back to the city.
