Day two is finished, we had a win and a loss yesterday which puts us no. 2 in the second flight for today.
Paradise LB banquet last night. Quite good. Also award night, we got our various certificate awards.

As he sat thinking about what his options were, there was a knock on the door, “Enter.” He called.
Elena Rosada stepped in and asked, “Is there anything else Senor Harding, a cup of coffee perhaps?”
Marsh replied, “No gracias.” Then as a thought struck him, quickly added, “ Wait, could you come in for a moment, por favour?’
 Elena said, “Certainly Senor.”
Marsh watched as she walked gracefully and with out hurry across the room and seated herself across from him.
“Yes Senor, you have a question?” She asked.
He said, “Yes, I do but first – you must be aware that the candidates I just interviewed fall a bit short of the kind of person I need.”
She replied, “I cannot say that I know Senor, but we do not have many to draw upon from our office and I had some concern that none of them would be suitable.”
“Mmhm.” Marsh said, thought for a few seconds, then, “What exactly is your job here Elena?’
“I am responsible for enumerating and collecting fire data and setting alerts during the summer.”
“Really?” Marsh answered, “Tell me what is your educational background, what are your qualifications?”
“ I have a degree in fire ecology and I worked with my husband in establishing some studies of the effect of fire on jungle.”
“That’s quite impressive, Elena.  And your husband what does he do?’ Marsh asked.
Elena dropped her head for a brief moment, and then looked up and said, “Mi esposo – my husband is dead.”
