Over nighted at the Todd's and then met another cousin(M's) for brunch and then a visit to their place. Got home around 3 pm. Watched a movie last night - give it a rating of one out of ten.
These excerpts that I have been posting are from my fiction book called "Embers", like all my others it is available on Barnes & Noble as a download or Lulu.com as a pocket book.

 “Here is what I want you to work on this week, Maria.  Perhaps you should listen as well Elena in case she needs any help or guidance.” Marsh said.  “ I have marked the sections that are ready for translation in this English only manual.  You should copy all the pages, as I will need to have the original back next week.  Put your copies in something that can have other sections added later on, some of what you translate may not make sense, so mark those sections and either Elena or I will help you make them meaningful later.

 Maria took the manual and went out and down the hall in the direction of the photocopier.  Elena sat at a second desk and started typing.  After a few minutes the typing paused, as Elena raised her head and stared for a moment, Marsh assumed she was just getting the words for the contract straight in her mind, but then she spoke, “Marsh, Maria seems very nice and I can tell she is intelligent, but… but there is something…” Her words trailed off.

 Marsh looked across and said, “ But what, what concerns you?”

“ I …I don’t know, I am not sure if she is hiding something or something is bothering her.  It is just a feeling, perhaps it is just my imagination.”  Elena replied.

 “ Well maybe she’s just nervous this being her first day.”  Was Marsh’s reply.  He did not yet want to share his concern about Maria’s connection to Raphael.
