Started our three day seniors triples tournament yesterday. We tied our first game and won the second. Both games were against very good teams, so are happy with those results. Another full day today. Canasta in the evening.

 Marsh went to his room, gathered up his briefcase and notes, phoned the desk for a taxi and returned to the lobby.  As he rode to the Fire Services headquarters, he reviewed the events of the last couple of hours.  He was satisfied with his exchange with Raphael, he understood well that even at the risk of making an unforgiving enemy, he had to ensure that Raphael understood and respected his role.  He felt that Maria was a plant, perhaps an innocent one, but a plant for purposes known only to Raphael.  He mentally kicked himself again for his involuntary response for what may or may not have been a spark of intimacy.  He would be on guard in the future.
