Kiwa Creek

Still marking time. It's actually incredible, it is now the 4th day since M's Mom had a massive stroke, no food and more importantly no liquid now in over 96 hours. Her frail(?) little body must be amazingly strong.
The two sisters keep a 24 hour bedside vigil with not much help from me. Well I do fetch Tim Hortons coffee.
The weather contnues to be reasonable, thought there was going to be an electrical storm last night, but it didn't materialize here ayway.
Had the garburator installed, then repaired (hid) the water damage from the leak that had existed for a while. Leftovers last night for supper at 8:30. Tonight it'll be steak, hopefully somewhat earlier.

Lots of pheasants around this year. Maybe more than usual? The current spell of better wather should help with chick survival.
I am trying to get together for a cup of with a couple of Alan's friends, hopefully today. They were his good friends and being female will probably have a tear or two. But that's one of the things life is all about - memories and friendship. I appreciate the friendship they bring.
