Took car into ford dealer in am- it has a shudder in the transmission at start off. Didn't get back home ubpntil11. Bowled ( not well) at Lakeview in pm. Watched a movie about a family in Oregon and their logging problems.

Merry Christmas!

We are sending out very few cards this year, between the Canadian and American postal systems – well you know what I mean.

The above picture was taken in front of our Arizona home on December 20th. We had gone out to listen to a group of carolers and one of them took our picture.

We have been down here since October and plan on staying to April, as most of you know we have become addicts of lawn bowling and that generally is how we spend our days. The weather was very hot when we first arrived and lasted into late November then cooled a bit. At the present we are seeing about 65 – 70 (15 – 20) during the day and down to just a few degrees above freezing at night.

Through the venues of the different bowling clubs we have met a lot of people and made new friends that we hope will become old friends with all of you.

The real competitive season starts in January and we are busy filling up our calendars with tournament dates. But we will still have time and space for company.

A short letter this year, (gotta go bowl), so hope this finds you well and hearty and enjoying Christmas cheer.
