Didn't bowl in the am as I had a "wry" neck. It was much better in pm so bowled with friends from out of park. Then a dip in the pool and a hot tub. Back to the house for happy hour and dinner - 10 of us. Nice evening.
On our 2nd trip to Ecuador, things hadn't changed that much. Maryann's class had some new faces and the kids club was more formalized and their business venture with the canoes was going well.
I was asked to be a guest lecturer at the university and as my Spanish had come along ways, I prepared (with help) a discourse on the principles and methodology of firefighting. Actually it went quite well and the question and answer period went on so long we ran out of time!
It was about this time that Chico came into our lives.
