The tv program 60 minutes covered the B C fish farm controversy last night. The Alex Morton perspective was the clear winner. Our government is allowing the destruction of wild fish stocks so that fish farms ( substitute feed lots) can survive and prevail. Alaska outlawed them 25 years ago and went on a course of increasing hatchery produced fish and also have increased the abundance of wild salmon because of that. Interesting that as I was typing Global tv also commented on the issue.
Another day close to home, feeling better though. Local kids here for Mother's Day dinner, their treat. Thanks guys and gals.
