It is interesting watching the side taking in the Enbridge pipeline decision. I am opposed as I think such an incursion through our province will see some disastrous environmental damage. The idea of those huge tankers eventually passing through the narrow confines of the winding rock lined inlet to Kitimat spells disaster to me.
But the other provinces, figure it's not in their yard so only see and believe the spins about profit.
The world is running out of oil, why not conserve it for our own use? Almost everything is made in China, they now import most of our lumber, next comes oil and as of yesterday they will now take the Okanagan cherry crop. When we become a Chinese province, I wonder what they will call us?
