Arrived Renvyle about 5:30 pm, passing through some of the best scenery so far. Fewer towns, hills and mountains, peat bogs and lakes. Roes home is on the edge of a huge bay running in from the Atlantic. Visited and dined ( Irish stew)and off to bed early.
Today we visited Verenas school which was first a castle (kylemore abbey)then a school run by the Benadictine Nuns. Very interesting. Shopped a bit in a small town then a great family dinner (monkfish)and visit. Qyuick visit to a local pub.
Whether the Roes turn out to be family remains to be discovered, but we already discovered that they are friends.
