Sunday morning, finished the Gunntrophy event. Promoted The junior on my team to third and we held the winning team to a tie and almost got the winning point in the last end. Then off to Salmon Beach with Barry, eventful trip with the truck acting up at Nanoose Bay. Turned out to be a loose fan belt so the battery wasn't charging. Arrived at the beach an hour behind schedule. No pots or pans so had to do some improvising in order to cook.
Got started on a bit of clearing.
Monday got a lot done. Had to drag all the debris I to a pile for contractor to haul. We no longer can dump the stuff at the gate. Left for home at 3:50 pm. Arrived home at 8. 'Twas a hot dirty and tiring day. But the place looks better. That was 4 years of growth we had to deal with.
