Men's singles yesterday. I won one and lost one, so slim chance of qualifying for the BSI. Round.
The important games yesterday though weren't mine. Our 13 year old junior entered this men's event. He was soundly thrashed in his first game 15-0, had a few tears. But two hours later he sucked it up, leaned on the lesson he had just received and beat his next adult opponent, an experienced and recognized good bowler. The score was 15-7. Even if he doesn't win any games today, he is still a winner in my mind and this is why we started a junior program, it truly helps build character.
Finally late last evening we had some answers we needed for next weekends junior tournament. It's been interesting getting this thing off the ground.
