It has been a busy couple of weeks. Had our club AGM on the 18th. I got elected to VP Games. Then final preparations for trip south. Flew out on Tuesday the 20th and got tour place about 7:30 pm. A day doing the needed things then on Thursday drove to the town of Williams and the next morning the train to the Grand Canyon. The train is a waste of money, expensive, 3 hours each way through a flat landscape of scrub pine and pinion. The Canyon is spectacular, lots of photos.

To Gallup New Mexico but stopped off at Meteor Crater and the Painted Desert. To Alberquerque, met up with M,s cousin for lunch, on to Socorro then a late arrival at Eagar, AZ. Next morning over the mountains, 7700 feet to Fountain Hills, Scottsdale and home by 3 pm. Bowled yesterday am, pie party next door in pm. Got tv hooked up in bedroom with a bit of work, but now find our little antennae got cooked and only has 4 channels. Going bowling this morning.
