20C Sun
Looks like the electrical storms have passed for today.
I was a marker at Ladies bowls yesterday. M won he r game, 2 more today.
Had to run in to Victoria and get a courtesy car, I cannot understand why it is taking 3 days plus to do a small warranty job. I don't believe the car has even been moved inside yet.

“I guess it actually belongs to you.”
They started along the beach, Bob moving more slowly among the rocks and gravel, they arrived at the hiding spot and Bob said, “Wait here and I’ll go get a couple.”
“No Bob, I think you should let me, once in the water you could catch your foot and pull that wound open.”
“Yeah but the salt water should be good for it.”
“Then you can sit in the water and soak it while I use my rod to get the fish.”
Bob glared at her for a second then started to grin, “God you’re a bossy woman, but yeah I guess you’re right.”
Alicia started towards the water then stopped. “Turn your head, I have to take off my jeans.”
Bob looked at her, colored a bit and mumbled, “Oh, yeah sure.” He turned his back to the water.
A few minutes later Alicia called, “Okay! And seriously why don’t you sit in the water
And splash some over the wound?”
“I think I will,” he called back, “tend to your fishing.”
While Alicia made her first cast he pulled off his pants and hobbled down to the water, he waded out to just below his knees and sat down.
The first fish Alicia caught was a small rock fish, she started to throw it back then changed her mind and set the treble hook into the flesh along the upper back then flung the baited lure outward to land about twenty feet away.
She stood and waited while the small fish tugged away at the line and after a few minutes reeled it back in.
She peeled of about thirty feet of line into the water, then grabbing the fish’s lower jaw between thumb and fore finger flung it back out in a slightly different direction. The fish went almost the full thirty feet before it landed again in the water.
Again she waited patiently then she felt a small jerk that was subtly different than what the rock fish had been doing, a second later there was a tremendous tug and the rod bent sharply, line screamed from the reel!
Bob jerked straight up to the sound, “Hey you got a good one on.”
