Very late today. Drove to Salmon Arm yesterday, arrived just after 7 pm. M and her sister spent the night at their mother's bedside. Nothing has changed since we arrived. Joan slept on the small settee through the night so M is up here at the house trying to get in a few zz's before tonight. she spent the 1st hour and a half doing her usual clean-up, laundry etc, etc before I could get her to lay down. I fed the kids this am and then they were off to school then spent an hour washing dishes. It is a waiting "game". I just boiled a bunch of eggs, unfortunately I had forgotten I had put them on and it wasn't until the 4th or 5th exploded that I got the message. Different pot and another half dozen on the boil!
Missed garbage pickup as well as I had no idea today was pick up day. Guess it means a trip to the dump, but that usually is a normal occurrence.
Off to tend to my eggs.
