182 to go. Only got 5 more in the last 24 hours. If you are from outside of Canada, we would still be happy to see you sign the petition. Let the powers that be know that everyone is watching.

I am still listening to the stories of the men & women from that fateful night & listening to them cry & share their pain & how they are working each day to recover. It’s been two years and their stories are very much like the men who come home from war-torn countries – post-traumatic stress disorder. It is important that we tell our stories and that we listen to each other as that is one way of processing our grief and our trauma and it is an opportunity for us to heal.
Please God wake up the BC Liberal Government! Open their eyes so they can have compassion on their people & enforce laws such as the Westeray Act. People in BC should not have to beg our own government to establish justice & righteousness in this land. It’s not too much to ask for after all of our losses.
I know now that Lakeland families are with us and that there are many families who are suffering in the exact same circumstances. A law exists called under the Westeray Act and it is sitting dormant while people are dying in British Columbia and we need Premier Christy Clark and the BC Liberal Government to act now before more people die senselessly at workplaces.
Thanks for your love & support. I share this with you because I trust you to support us and we rely on other people to pray for justice. God bless."
