May 3
7 C and rain.
Took a pill last night and slept til 7:15.
I have started re -reading Alan's book and now with more knowledge of his friends and people in his life I am reaching a much deeper understanding.

I confess I had another weeping session when I went to bed last night and this morning I remembered the words in the poem I'll publish here today; these are the last few lines :
Fear not though, I accompany,
Together we go
Hand in hand in hand
Allowing Night his reign

Today is the service for the Roche family - our hearts go out to them.
There is a trust fund set up for Glen Roche's son and also a CIBC sponsored fund for the aid of the injured in the Lakeland Mills fire.

Today's poem

Untitled
Kneeling now I cry.
Arrogant, mute skies,
Cold, unyielding earth
Damn thou then,
Existence is
Neither yours nor yours
Canst thou and thou,
Survive the in between?
Newborn and angry
Solitary, Done wrong,
Mad and afraid stalk I,
Treading the line, your weakness'
Fear not though, I accompany,
Together we go
Hand in hand in hand
Allowing Night his reign
