Rained almost all night, o/c now, some blue here and there.
Yesterday was visiting and not doing much. Grad's did their march in their fancy clothes and we were home by 9.
I didn't realize that until I posted the story yesterday that I was all caught up and no more prepared a head. But I took a few minutes and got a few paragraphs done for today.
I hope that I can find a few minutes and get something done for tomorrow.
Cap and gowns tonight for the grads, I'll see about posting a picture a bit later.
.” She went back out the door into the dusk.
As soon as the door closed Bob hitched himself painfully to the edge of the bed then carefully swung his legs over the edge. Sweat formed in large drops on his forehead as pain radiated from all the bruised areas and the wound in his buttock. He struggled to his feet and tried to take a step but then slumped back onto the bed with a small groan. “Damn,” he whispered, “I’ve really got to go.”
He rested a second and then as he pushed himself upright once more the door swung open and Alicia stepped inside.
“What are you doing? Get back on that bed.” She cried.
Bob pulled the sheet around himself and glaring at her said, “You’re not the only one around here that needs to go you know.”
Alicia instantly looked contrite, “Oh Bob, I am sorry. I should have asked, I never thought.”
“Okay. That’s okay, but there is a big can over there in the corner, would you get it for me please?”
Alicia found the tin and passed it to Bob,
“I’ll wait outside, call me when you’re finished.” She hurried back through the door.
A minute later Bob called, “Okay you can come back.”
Alicia entered and crossed the room and took the tin from Bob and put it on the floor. “Here I’ll help you get comfortable again.”
Bob started to protest then nodded and eased back onto the edge of the bed.
Alicia bent and grabbing his heels swung him slowly and gently around then as Bob propped himself on his arms, she moved the two pillows behind his back and helped him to sit back in a half reclining position.
“From now on let me know what you need.” Alicia said.
Bob nodded, “Okay, but by tomorrow I should be able to move around.”
“Maybe, we’ll see was the reply but now I better have a look at your backside and see if the bandage is okay.”
