Bowled in the am. Helped a bit getting things ready for Christmas Day . Got the word that a part is on the way for the car's transmission. But won't be here till Thursday! So we are car less until after Christmas. Got a ride with friends so I could do my usual Christmas Eve shopping. Church service at the ballroom then next door to the neighbors for a get together. Home by nine and lit the candle.
I hope all of you have a merry Christmas.
This Christmas like the last is difficult, not because as a family we are not all together (although that would be nice) but because even though when we were not together, we were all some where with other family members or friends. These last two Christmases have a void, because no matter what the heart says, there is a missing part and my being struggles with that.
But life does go on and we (I) must go on as well.
A new year is on the door step and I truly hope that it is a good year for all of us.
